Following the re-processing of some Pleiades Level 3 data (see relevant news item published on 9 March), we would like to inform users that some Level 1 data have been affected by this change as the DEM used to process the orthorectified data, was also used as part of the production process for Level 1 Pleiades data delivered to the dataset in the period between October and December 2016.

VITO and ESA are pleased to announce the new availability of PROBA-V Level 2A products as part of the Copernicus Space Component data offer, to fulfil in particular the requirements of the Copernicus Global Land Service.
It has recently been determined that orthorectified image products supplied to the VHR_IMAGE_2015 dataset in the projection epsg:27300 HD72/EOV over Hungary are not displaying correctly in common image processing software packages, for example ENVI or QGIS. These data products appear to have been flipped and shifted as a result of transposed image co-ordinates.
Further to the completion of the European optical MR1 composites (MR_IMAGE_2015) dataset and their contribution to the HR1/HR2 Optical Worldwide coverage (HR_IMAGE_2015) dataset, GAF AG, contributing mission entity to DWH phase 2, presents in the attached maps the extent of the cloud-free coverage achieved with Resourcesat-2 LISS-III and AWiFS sensors during the last three year's summer ([Apr – Sep]) over Europe, and the availability of Cartosat-1 stereo data worldwide. These data are available through GAF and can be ordered by eligible users within the additional standard datasets.

As CDS nominal operations have resumed, the upload of large volumes of data within the VHR_IMAGE_2015 dataset have restarted on 15/05/2017. Priority is given to the ingestion of Pleiades reprocessed data that should be completed on 22 May.

On 07 May, PROBA-V celebrated its fourth year in orbit. VITO is proud to announce that PROBA-V adventure continues, as the mission has been extended at least until the end of October 2019.

It was recently determined that an update to the production of INSPIRE.xml metadata for DEIMOS-2 products has been causing the distribution of products containing an invalid INSPIRE.xml file.

We are pleased to publish the second Sentinel Data Access Annual Report. This 2016 report takes up from where the 2015 report left off, and analyses the uptake of Copernicus Sentinel data and the performance of the Sentinel Data Access System during the period 1 December 2015 to 30 November 2016.
An update of the DWH phase 2 (2014-2020) Data Access Portfolio is available in the data offer section. This new version of the DAP (v2.2) includes the quota allocation to Copernicus eligible users for the period 16 April 2017 to 15 March 2018 as defined by the Commission. Users are kindly invited to check their quota allocation before submitting new EO data requests as of 16 April. Configuration of the CDS is on-going to include the new figures in the users' personal area. The standard data requests may be handled with short delays in the second half of April, depending on the volume of new requests received.
12 April 2017
- The move of the L3 products to be reprocessed is completed. The list of original products and their final location (dataset) is attached.
- In parallel, the upload of the reprocessed products is on-going and over 4100 products (out of 14253 to be re-delivered) are already available in their nominal datasets. The replacement is expected to be completed by the end of April.

Calling on all interested users of Sentinel data, who would like to submit their results, turning their experiences into 'success stories'.
If you have a good story to tell, of how any of the Sentinel satellites are producing data that bring benefit to your work and/or to society, please contact the Sentinel Online Editor Malì Cecere at: email@example.com with your proposals.
23 March 2017
With reference to the news of 9 March, users are here informed that the upload of the Pleiades L3 reprocessed products in the CDS archive has started on 22 March and will take 4 to 5 weeks. The move of the existing products is instead postponed by a few days.
In parallel, large volumes of new data from all missions are being made available to users every day.
17 March 2017
A new version of the Copernicus Client (GCL/EOLI-SA) available to Copernicus users to browse the CDS catalogue and access the data delivered by Contributing Missions has been released. Users are invited to take note of the changes and to download the update from the EOLI-SA page.
17 products belonging to the HR_IMAGE_2015/DE/Coverage_1/L3_National dataset are being removed due to erroneous processing of SPOT-5 scenes in National projection.
Copernicus users of Contributing Missions data are here informed that a new version of the Mission-specific Annex to the ESA-User license is available here that supersedes the previous version, correcting the acknowledgement to be used for SPOT-6/7 data. The updated Annex is applicable for all data downloaded since April 2015 and until further notice.
Following a request from the Land Monitoring Service, the Pleiades L3 data processing for the VHR_IMAGE_2015 dataset has been updated to reduce a geometric shift observed in the overlap area between Pleiades 1A and Pleiades 1B images.
