CQC Publication with “Remote Sensing Letters”

06 February 2018

Data harmonisation is a large part of the work performed by the Copernicus Coordinated Quality Control (CQC) within the Copernicus Space Component Data Access project. Within this task, CQC has reviewed the terminology to be used to identify an EO product on the basis of the corrections applied. Currently there is no international agreement which may explain the plethora of names and level codes used by the data providers to identify their products. CQC have published a paper in the peer-reviewed international journal "Remote Sensing Letters" which groups the products which have undergone the same (or similar) geometric corrections into harmonised categories with appropriate names.
