During the CSCDA Workshop at ESA ESRIN (20-22 April 2015) a round table on “Harmonisation of orthorectification methods for optical missions” discussed the issues of non-uniformity of the terminology of the data distributed by the CCMEs. Indeed, currently there is no international agreement as to the terminology to be used to identify a product on the basis of the corrections applied. This may explain the plethora of names and level codes used by the data providers to identify their products. As conclusion of this Workshop an action was given to the Coordinated data Quality Control (CQC) team: to consolidate definitions of “product-level groups” and CCMEs to specify in which group each of their processing levels belongs to.
