Minimize Subscription to Datasets

Access to imagery archived in the CDS is available by subscription to the Data Warehouse datasets., The eligibility of users to access specific datasets is defined by user category and can be viewed in the Access Rights section. Subscription is available for predefined coverages (CORE datasets) and on-demand datasets (ADDitional Datasets).

Users can view accessible datasets and request subscriptions through their Copernicus User's Personal Area.

Subscription Review

Active subscriptions can be viewed by logging in to the Copernicus User's Personal Area with your SSO account (see Registration page for more details). The ‘Dataset Subscription' section shows all your individual active subscriptions as well as the ones implemented for your Copernicus Service Project, if applicable.

Subscription to CORE Dataset

CORE datasets are predefined collections of EO data, combining images from one or more Copernicus Contributing Missions (CCMs) to cover the needs of large communities of users.

Eligible Copernicus users can subscribe to CORE datasets online in their Copernicus User's Personal Area, as explained in the Subscription Guidelines.

Subscription to ADDitional Datasets

ADDitional Datasets. datasets are on-demand datasets, responding to specific requirements of Copernicus Service Projects (CSPs). When eligible, Copernicus users can request subscriptions to ADD datasets of other CSPs. To request a subscription to an ADD dataset, the user should:

  1. Identify the relevant datasets from the DAP offer or using the data catalogue Copernicus Client (EOLiSA/GCL)
  2. Inform the Services Coordinated Interface (SCI) Team (by email EOSupport@Copernicus.esa.int or using the relevant contact form on the Copernicus User's Personal Area), providing the relevant dataset ID, which can be found in the EOLiSA/GCL by double-clicking on the record and viewing the Acquisition Descriptor field. The SCI team will then implement the relevant subscription; allowing data to be downloaded from the EOLiSA/GCL or FTP (see Data Download Page for further information).
