Minimize Access to ESA Third Party Missions data by Copernicus users

For 35 years, ESA has been using its Earth Observation multi-mission ground systems to acquire process, archive and distribute data from satellites not owned or operated by ESA – the so-called Third Party Missions (TPMs), as part of ESA's mandatory activities.

The TPM data collections are distributed to the European User community under specific agreements with the owners or operators of such missions, respecting the data policy of each TPM operator, while supplying the data to the European user community under a harmonised TPM licence. Data are available under the free dataset policy and require only a fast registration.

If eligible for access, the TPM data is free of charge to the user.

Request Access to data

All data collections are available via a simplified Registration process: creation of your personal EO-SSO ID, which is separate to your SSO account used for accessing the Copernicus User's Personal Area; Further information including the Guidelines for Registration and the "List of available products" can be found at: https://earth.esa.int/web/guest/pi-community/apply-for-data/fast-registration.

The procedure step by step is:

1) Login to 'My Earthnet' (on Earth Online) using your personal EO-SSO ID. For the creation of an EO-SSO account, follow the registration procedure.
2) From the main area in My Earthnet, select the link "My online data" (at the first access to the interface, provide the basic information requested)
3) Select ESA TPM products via a dropdown menu and then click "Add Product"
4) Access to the selected data is immediate and download link appears in the "My online data" interface

Download interface is always available via the "My online data" and identified in the confirmation email received at product registration time.
