RSS Feeds

What is an RSS feed?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds enable you to receive updates from the GSCDA website without having to visit thesite to see if there is new content.

Using RSS feeds, you can now receive the latest headlines as soon as they are published.

You can also access RSS feeds directly from pages on the site - the orange RSS icon will appear when a feed is available.

How to start using RSS feeds?

You will need one of the following to read RSS feeds: a modern web browser, web-based news reader or a desktop news reader.

A news reader is a piece of software that checks the feeds and enables you to view published content online.

You will need to find a news reader that works with your computer and operating system. Each works in a slightly different way so consult the instructions.

Modern web browsers including Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer (version 7 and above), Safari and Chrome automatically check for feeds when you visit a website, and display the orange RSS icon when one is found. Many allow you to add RSS feeds as a browser favourite, automatically updating them with the latest content.

Web-based news readers
