29 August 2011
As announced on 8 August, the CDS infrastructure upgrade will start on 5 September 2011 and is scheduled to last 3 weeks.
The ftp access to ODA server for GSCDA data pick-up will be suspended for one day on 5 September 2011. Reception of GMES Product Packages pushed by GCMEs to CDS will not be affected during the upgrade apart from possible very short ftp service interruptions during the same day.
FTP access to EO data stored in the Core Infrastructure or newly received will not be affected as manual circulation of GCMEs deliveries will be ensured.
Instead data query and download via the GMES Client (GCL) will not be available for the whole duration of the CDS upgrade that is scheduled to take 3 weeks.
Updates on the status will be provided regularly.
