GMES Space Component Data Access pre-operations starts with ESA data

First ESA data are now available for the following DataSets:

• Systematic Global low-resolution land coverage with Imaging multispectral radiometers/ scatterometers.

  The DataSet is being contributed to through NRT delivery of ERS Wind Scatterometer fast delivery products within coverage of ESA low bit rate stations.
• Systematic regional medium-to low-resolution land coverage with imaging multi-spectral radiometers.
  DAP_MG3_01
  
  This DataSet is being provided initially with ENVISAT MERIS FR near-real-time level-1 products. The acquisitions are ensured via the background regional mission planning, and the resulting products are made available online through a dedicated account. As of 2008-12-10 the complete coverage for Europe and partial coverage of Africa are available.
  Complete NRT coverage of Africa will be implemented in January 2009.
• Regional Sea Ice Monitoring in Baltic Sea
  DAP_MG1_08
  
  This DataSet is being provided initially with ENVISAT ASAR WS medium resolution level-1 products.
  The acquisitions are ensured via the background regional mission planning, and the resulting products are made available online through a dedicated account.
