Following the news of 02 November 2010 an update on the ENVISAT instrument data quality status since the orbit lowering is provided.
The first phase of the instrument data characterisation has been completed, showing that the quality of data products for all instruments is of the same level as before the orbit lowering on 22 October 2010.
The mini-commissioning phase will be continued until the end of December 2010 to further consolidate the data assessment, but it may already be concluded that the orbit transition has been successful.
