The Second Generation of Disaster Monitoring Constellation (DMC) satellites provides high resolution (22m) imagery from a sun-synchronous orbit over very large areas (650km swath, 2000km along track), with a daily revisit to global targets. The second generation of satellites works together with the first generation to satisfy rapid revisit and large area coverage campaign requirements. The satellites are named Deimos-1 and UK-DMC-2
