The First Generation of Disaster Monitoring Constellation (DMC) satellites provides high resolution (32m) imagery from a sun-synchronous orbit over very large areas (650km swath, 500-4,000km along track dependent on storage), with a daily revisit to global targets. The first generation of satellites works together with the second generation to satisfy rapid revisit and large area coverage campaign requirements. The missions are named AlSat, Beijing-1, BILSat, NigeriaSat-1, UK-DMC
